iPhone XR/XS or newer, Pixel 4 or newer, or a recent Samsung flagship. Check your phone in 30 seconds.

2Install at home

Buy a plan, get the QR code by email, and scan it on Wi-Fi before you fly.

3Switch on when you land

Set mobile data to the eSIM and turn on data roaming for it. Turn off data roaming on your UAE line.

Questions

Can I use Grab and pay with my phone in Thailand?
Yes. The eSIM gives you mobile data, so apps such as Grab, Google Maps and WhatsApp work as usual. It does not include a Thai phone number.
Does my phone support eSIM?
iPhone XR/XS and newer, Google Pixel 4 and newer, and most flagship Samsung phones support eSIM. On iPhone, go to Settings > General > About and look for "Digital SIM" or an EID number. Your phone must not be locked to a carrier.
Will I keep my UAE number for WhatsApp and bank OTPs?
Yes. The eSIM is added as a second line for data. Your UAE SIM stays in the phone for calls and SMS. Turn off data roaming on your UAE line so you are not charged for roaming data.
When does the plan start?
When your phone connects to a network in the destination, not when you install it. Install at home on Wi-Fi before you fly.
Can I get a refund?
If the eSIM has not been installed or activated, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will review a refund. Once it is installed or connected, it cannot be refunded.
